Newington required a space that could support their extensive Technology and Design Program. The Newington Technology project involved the consolidation of 4 existing buildings, including the original Thomas Rowe Founders Building, with new infill construction, creating an integrated Design and Technology Facility.
New accessible circulation links included generous research and meeting areas for students creating a lively a stimulating educational environment, maximising visual interactivity and showcasing the leading edge technology equipment included 3-D and laser printing units.
Exposed heritage sandstone walls displayed Newington's history and future and innovative concepts, including a presentation and discussion mode platform based lecture facility.
