The Newington College Early Learning Centre and the associated Year 6 Centre project are located on the College's Wyvern Campus site.

The Early Learning Centre was designed to support a Reggio Emilia based teaching and exploration model for pre Kindergarten aged boys & girls. The new ELC has its own identity, uses natural materials and is filled with natural daylight. It has high quality internal display facilities for the children's work, extensive indoor and outdoor covered work and play zones, Art Studios for each class group and an interesting outdoor water feature that can be controlled by the children. Covered car-parking and off street drop off facilities allow parents to safely drop off and pick up children. The separate Year 6 Centre supports the transition of the Year 6 students to secondary school with a specific identity within the Preparatory School for Year 6, associated Group Work areas and dedicated staff areas plus direct access to Music & Languages tuition spaces, the Library and the Multi-Purpose Hall.
