BNMH was contracted by Macquarie University to design an adaptive re-use of the lower floors of the vacant Old Library Building to accommodate student focused facilities. These included the Student Connect Unit, a new Entry Foyer and amenities to service a variety of associated Student Social Learning spaces developed by 3 other firms under our coordination.

The Student Connect Unit developed a new student focused environment in which to deliver Student Support Services with 'Help Desk' staff assigned to meet and assist students in a variety of one on one, group side-by-side and private consultation settings. We integrated mobile smart device technology to create a user friendly consultation booking process that included colour co-ordinated columns, joinery and linear LED lighting installations.
