BNMH were commissioned by Macquarie University to re-plan and refurbish the existing Chancellery Building to create a collaborative and open working environment for the newly appointed Vice Chancellor and his senior executive staff. Reception facilities were redeveloped, the main access stair reconfigured and spaces visually opened and reconstructed. Stripping out the upper floor allowed us to upgrade the image of the facilities and to provide suitable reception, meeting and office facilities for the Vice Chancellor and high level corporate, government and academic visitors. Open plan office facilities were created to provide flexible accommodation for senior support staff, in addition to creating the new video conferencing and meeting areas.
